Sensodyne® Toothpaste Tooth-Whitening Formula

Did You Experience Tooth Sensitivity After Having a Tooth-Whitening Treatment?

80% of patients who undergo a teeth-whitening treatment will experience sensitive teeth. The most common tooth-whitening ingredients are hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide, which have been known to cause teeth whitening sensitivity as they penetrate the tooth enamel.

Sensodyne® toothpaste tooth-whitening formulas have a specially designed formula to remove stains from teeth to restore their natural whiteness. Sensodyne® toothpaste whitening formulas contain a matrix of polishing and cleaning ingredients which all contribute to the cleaning and whitening effect. Like all Sensodyne® toothpaste variants, Sensodyne® toothpaste whitening formulas contain potassium nitrate, a clinically proven active sensitivity ingredient.

Active Ingredients: Potassium Nitrate (5%) (Maximum FDA Sensitivity Active Ingredient), Sodium Fluoride (0.15% w/v Fluoride Ion). Inactive Ingredients: Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Flavor, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, PEG-8, Pentasodium triphosphate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Saccharin, Sorbitol, Sucralose, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Xanthan Gum.
